How long should a floss head last? They can last up to one week, depending on the tightness of your teeth. If you have tight contacts, you may need to change them more frequently. The floss heads will last longer if used gently, without forcing them between your teeth.

Can you use a Slate Flosser with a bridge, permanent retainer, or implants? At this time, the Slate Flosser cannot be used with a bridge, permanent retainer, or implants. However, it can be used with crowns or braces.

What is the best way to use the flosser for maximum effectiveness? We recommend the "roll & sweep" technique. Instead of pushing the flosser between your teeth and down, roll it in and slide it from tongue to cheek, then roll it out. Watch our how-to videos for a guided process.
